In der Mitte des Vordergrunds ist Marita scharf zu erkennen. Sie steht zur Kamera gerichtet und beugt sich mit weit gespreizten Beinen nach vorne. Sie blickt auf den Boden. Rechts von ihr steht eine halbvolle Flasche mit hellbrauner Flüssigkeit. Ihr rechter Arm ist vor ihrem linken Fuß auf den Boden gestreckt und in der Hand hält sie ein Bündel getrockneter Äste, die als Besen dienen. Marita fegt damit den Boden; es ist unscharf, als sei es in Bewegung aufgenommen worden. Quer über den Boden, in einer Linie vor ihr, steigt eine Linie aus Staub in die Luft. Der Staub ist am Boden dicht und lichtet sich, während er aufsteigt.
