Eine Totale im Querformat. Ein grasbewachsener Randstreifen geht in eine große Wasserfläche über. Am Rande der Traverse versammeln sich die Künstler*innen. Viele von ihnen halten große Stücke hellen Materials hoch und schwenken sie wie Fahnen. Hinter dem Rand der Traverse in der Mitte des Bildes befindet sich die Landzunge mit dem Rhein zur Linken und der Ruhr zur Rechten. Sie fließen an der Spitze der Landzunge ineinander. Am Horizont ist eine rote Zügelgurtbrücke zu sehen. Der Himmel in der oberen Hälfte des Bildes ist blau mit einer Kombination aus ausgedehnten Wolkenarten.
A landscape long shot. A grassy verge traverses into a large expanse of water. At the edge of the traverse gather the artists. Many of them hold up large pieces of light coloured material, waving them like flags. Beyond the edge of the traverse in the centre of the shot is the headland with the Rhine to the left and the Ruhr to the right. They flow into each other at the tip of the headland. On the horizon is a red iron and cable bridge. The sky in the upper half of the image is blue with a combination of sprawling cloud types.
